Armstrong AT-3500 series bimetallic steam trap for superheated conditions. Features a stainless steel body, 32 bar max pressure, and 360° universal connector compatibility.

Armstrong AT-3500 series bimetallic steam traps are designed for superheated conditions. They operate through the effect of temperature rise on a thermostatic bimetallic element. As the temperature increases, the force generated by the bimetallic element's deformation increases, compensating for rising pressure and allowing the trap to automatically adjust to changing operating conditions.
The trap features a lightweight, compact, and highly corrosion-resistant ASTM A-351 Gr.CF8 stainless steel body with a removable cover, making it fully repairable. It can be connected to piping using an Armstrong 360° universal connector or a Trap Valve Station (TVS). This design allows for easy installation and inline replacement without removing the connector, saving labor costs and providing flexibility to install other trap types (such as inverted bucket, thermostatic, and thermodynamic) on the same connector.
