BURKERT 350133 (Type 3361) Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve, 24V DC, 1" Flange

Bürkert Type 3361 (SKU 350133) electromotive 2-way globe control valve. Features 1" ANSI B16.5 flange, PTFE seal, 24V DC, and 0-25 bar pressure range for high-precision dynamic control.

BURKERT 350133 (Type 3361) Electromotive 2-Way Globe Control Valve, 24V DC, 1" Flange

Bürkert Type 3361 (SKU 350133) is an innovative electromotive 2-way globe control valve designed for demanding operating conditions. This specific variant features a 1" ANSI B16.5 flange connection, a PTFE seat seal, and operates on 24V DC. It supports a pressure range of 0 to 25 bar and medium temperatures from -10 °C to 130 °C, delivering a Kv value of 12 m³/h.

The electromotive actuator with a ball screw positions the control cone with the highest precision. A unique feature is its high positioning speed of up to 6 mm/s, which reacts almost delay-free to process signals. Pressure variations or shocks in the medium are not transferred to the valve position. The flow-optimized stainless steel valve body can be equipped with up to 5 different valve seats for precise adaptation to customer needs.

Performance Specifications

Flow Characteristics

The valve features an equal-percentage flow characteristic according to DIN EN 60534-2-4, with a theoretical rangeability of up to 50:1 depending on the seat size.

Operating Limits

In addition to the maximum operating pressures, the application range of Bürkert process valves is limited by the nominal pressure in accordance with the relevant standard.

BURKERT 350133 Bürkert Type 3361 operating limits for medium temperature and pressure

Operating limits for seat seal

By using plastics as sealing material (like PTFE), the control valves can close tightly (Leakage class VI). PTFE is recommended for temperatures up to +130 °C.

Product Design and Assembly

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated electronics are controlled either by standard signals or via a fieldbus (digital).

Maintenance and Service

Adjusting the Position Control – Running X.TUNE

When the X.TUNE function is run, the position control is adjusted to the physical stroke of the actuating element used. Do not run X.TUNE without requirement. It must be run again only when the actuator has been removed afterwards or the valve body has been changed.

Danger due to uncontrolled process after running the X.TUNE function

If the X.TUNE is run under medium pressure, the controller will be incorrectly adjusted. This will result in an uncontrolled process. Never run the X.TUNE under medium pressure. Secure the system against unintentional activation.

Mechanical Actuation of the Valve

If the supply voltage is not applied (e.g., during installation or in the event of a power failure), the valve position can be changed using the mechanical manual override.

WARNING

The mechanical manual override may be used only when it is de-energized, otherwise the device may be damaged. Maximum tightening torque is 2 Nm.
