Bürkert Type 2300 (SKU 377062) pneumatically operated 2-way angle seat control valve. Features 1-inch clamp connection, PTFE seal, NC control function, and stainless steel body.

Bürkert Type 2300 (Article No. 377062) is a pneumatically operated 2-way angle seat control valve designed for process environments. In line with Bürkert’s philosophy for modular valves and sensors, the construction of the Type 2300 angle-seat valve fulfils tough criteria for process control. Unrivalled cycle life and sealing integrity are guaranteed by the proven self-adjusting packing gland. The parabolic trim results in a flow characteristic approximately 35% larger than conventional control valves. This specific model features a durable PTFE seal for tight shut-off, a 1-inch clamp connection, and operates with a normally closed (NC) control function.
The design enables the easy integration of automation modules, whether they are digital electropneumatic positioners or process controllers. The fully integrated system has a compact and smooth design, integrated pneumatic lines, IP65/67 protection class, and superior chemical resistance. It is engineered for reliable, accurate control in applications where a high flow rate is an advantage.
This valve operates with Control Function A (CF A):

Because the medium pressure is below the control cone, it helps open the valve.

WARNING
Valve leak if there is too little minimum pilot pressure or high medium pressure! Minimum pilot pressure that is too low, or failing to meet the permitted medium pressure, can cause a leak in the valve seat.
DANGER
Risk of injury from high pressure in the system! Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and vent or empty the lines.
WARNING
Risk of injury when opening the actuator! The actuator contains a spring under tension. When the actuator is opened, the spring will jump out and may cause injuries. Do not open the actuator.
TIP
Installation Note Any installation position of the angle-seat control valve is possible, preferably with the actuator facing upward. Ensure that pipelines are aligned before connecting the valve and note the flow direction (flow direction always below seat).
