Product Overview
Spirax Sarco DP27 series pilot operated ductile iron pressure reducing valves include six models: DP27, DP27E, DP27G, DP27GY, DP27R, and DP27Y, specifically designed for pressure control in industrial applications. The products fully comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, feature ductile iron bodies with robust and durable construction, suitable for steam systems, compressed air systems, inert gas systems, and various media (strictly prohibited for oxygen), meeting both general pressure control and critical pressure control requirements such as autoclaves, supporting remote control, timed control, and various functional modes.

Steam Discharge
- Flow Rate Basis: With external sensing tube installed (flow rate reduced when not installed, maximum reduction of 30% at very low downstream pressure)
- Superheated Steam Correction: Correction factor 0.95 at 55°C superheat, 0.9 at 100°C superheat
Compressed Air Discharge
- Flow Unit: dm³/s at standard conditions
- Selection Method: Determine appropriate port size based on upstream pressure, downstream pressure, and required flow rate through discharge charts
