TLV CT20D Electro-Pneumatic Control Valve with I/P Positioner

The TLV CT20D is a compact electro-pneumatic control valve for steam and non-hazardous fluids, featuring a digital positioner, DN15-150.

TLV CT20D Electro-Pneumatic Control Valve with I/P Positioner

The TLV CT20D is a compact multi-purpose electro-pneumatic control valve equipped with an I/P positioner, designed for steam and non-hazardous fluids. It integrates a digital I/P positioner and a pneumatic actuator of standardized sizes into a compact configuration, making it an excellent choice for a variety of demanding industrial applications.

The valve utilizes a rolling actuator diaphragm that ensures linearity over the operating stroke and maximizes service life. The self-adjusting positioner features zero calibration by auto-tuning, which ensures tight shut-off and improves control during low flow conditions. Its positioner LCD allows simple operation with capacitive keys and easily displays valve travel and error codes.

Features

  • Digital I/P positioner and pneumatic actuator in a compact configuration.
  • Rolling actuator diaphragm ensures linearity over the operating stroke and maximizes life.
  • Self-adjusting positioner with zero calibration by auto-tuning ensures tight shut-off and improves low-flow control.
  • Positioner LCD allows simple operation with capacitive keys and displays valve travel and error codes.
  • Self-adjusting chevron packing minimizes seal leaks, stem wear and stiction/hysteresis problems.
  • Sizes DN 40 and above utilize V-port plugs to improve control stability and provide durability resulting in a long service life.

Installation Notes

Installation Angle

Install the product vertically, so that the arrow mark on the body points horizontally in the direction of flow. Allowable inclination is 10 degrees in the fore-aft direction and 15 degrees in the plane perpendicular to the flow line. A drain plug is installed on the CT20D.

Piping Support

Install the product, paying attention to avoid excessive load, bending and vibration. Support the inlet and outlet pipes securely.

TIP

Blowdown is especially important for newly installed piping or after the system has been shut down for a long period of time. This will reduce operation failure caused by condensate or foreign matter.
