BURKERT 20036867 Type 0330 2/2-Way Solenoid Valve, PVDF, NPT 1/4, 24V DC

The Burkert 20036867 (Type 0330) is a direct-acting, media-separated 2/2-way pivoted armature solenoid valve. Designed for controlling, shutting off, and dosing neutral and aggressive media, this valve features a PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) body and FKM (Fluor rubber) seals, making it highly resistant to chemicals. The solenoid coil is moulded with a chemically resistant epoxy, and the coil system is separated from the medium by a diaphragm.

This specific model operates with a 24 V DC power supply and features an NPT 1/4 internal thread connection. It has a 3.0 mm orifice and supports a pressure range of 0 to 8 bar. The valve is equipped with a manual override for easy start-up and testing.

DANGER!

Risk of injury from electric shock ▶ Before working on the system or device, switch off the power supply and secure against reactivation. ▶ Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices. ▶ There is a risk of electric shock if the protective conductor is not connected. Connect protective conductor and check electrical continuity between coil and body.

Standard Device Connection

  1. Connect L1/+ and N/– to terminals 1 and 2 independently of the polarity.
  2. Connect the protective conductor.
  3. Attach valve seat and check that it fits properly.
  4. Screw the cable plug (Type 2518 or 2509 in accordance with DIN EN 175301-803, Design A) in place, observing the maximum torque of 1 Nm.
  5. Check electrical continuity between coil and body (protective conductor function).

Installation Notes

Dirt Trap

For safe operation of the solenoid valve, a dirt trap (≤ 500 µm) must be installed before the valve inlet.

NOTICE!

Caution! Risk of breakage ▶ Do not use the coil as a lever arm. ▶ Use PTFE tape as a seal material. ▶ Determine the maximum screw-in depth of the connection threads as these do not comply with any standard. ▶ Hold the device on the body using the appropriate tool (open-ended spanner) and screw into the pipeline.

Manual Override

When manual override is locked, the valve cannot be electrically actuated.

  1. Press and hold the manual override.
  2. Turn manual override clockwise to lock.
