BURKERT 20060030 (Type 5470) 4/2-Way Pneumatic Solenoid Valve

BURKERT 20060030 (Type 5470) is a 4/2-way servo-assisted pneumatic solenoid valve featuring a 4.0mm orifice, 24V DC operation, and 6mm push-in connectors.

BURKERT 20060030 (Type 5470) 4/2-Way Pneumatic Solenoid Valve

BURKERT 20060030 (Type 5470) is a 4/2-way servo-assisted pneumatic solenoid valve designed for reliable control of compressed air and neutral gases. It consists of a Type 6106 pilot rocker solenoid valve and a pneumatic valve. An armature with a tilting bearing, similar to a rocker, tilts within the body of the pilot valve to switch the valve. This minimal tilting movement is non-wearing, making basic lubrication unnecessary. The valve features a compact design, reduced power consumption, and can be used individually or mounted together as an extendable valve block using a module flange.

Block Installation

The valves can be mounted in blocks on the modular pneumatic base rail Type MP05. Cable plug Type 1057 can be selected with plug configuration at the top. Neutral and protective conductors are looped through and connected centrally once, simplifying wiring and allowing individual valves to be removed from the block without difficulty.

Installation Position

The valve can be installed in any position, but it is recommended to mount it with the actuator (solenoid system) upright.

Safety Instructions

Danger - High Pressure! Turn off the pressure and vent the lines before loosening lines or valves.

Risk of Electric Shock! Before reaching into the device or the equipment, switch off the power supply and secure to prevent reactivation. Ensure the protective conductor contact between the coil and housing is connected.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

High switching frequency and high pressures reduce the service life, but under normal operating conditions, the valves operate maintenance-free. If the equipment is switched off for a long period, it is recommended to activate the valves at least 1-2 times per day to ensure functional reliability.

If malfunctions occur, check whether:

  • The device has been installed according to the instructions.
  • The electrical and pneumatic connections are correct.
  • The voltage and pressure have been switched on.
  • The pipelines are clean (install a ≤ 5 µm dirt trap upstream if necessary).
  • The manual control is in the normal position.
