Burkert Type 8647 AirLINE SP (SKU 20062113) electropneumatic valve island. Features 11mm width, mixed valve population, IP20 protection, and direct integration with Siemens SIMATIC ET 200SP.

Burkert 20062113 Type 8647 AirLINE SP is a modular, electropneumatic automation system consisting of connection and valve modules. It has been especially developed for safe and complete integration into the decentralised peripheral systems "SIMATIC ET 200SP" and "SIMATIC ET 200SP HA" from Siemens. Pneumatically operated process valves, pneumatic cylinders, or other pneumatic components can be connected to the pneumatic outputs.
The valve block is used to incorporate pneumatic pilot valves directly in the SIMATIC system and to activate them via the system. If feedback indicators are installed at pneumatic components, the position of the actuated pneumatic components can be displayed on the associated pilot valve, saving time on start-up and maintenance.
Combining modules from the distributed Siemens I/O systems SIMATIC ET 200SP/SP HA with the valve block AirLINE SP Type 8647 provides an integrated system of electronic and pneumatic components.

The pneumatic supply and deaeration of the valve block occurs via connection units. Furthermore, the valve block is fixed to the standard rail via the connection units. Connection units can be optionally equipped with a pressure gauge or electronic pressure sensor.

Valve units convert the electrical control signals of the interface module into pneumatic output signals and provide the pneumatic outputs. Various valve functions can be combined with each other.

Valve units consist of the following modules:
Electronic base module (PQ module) It contains the electrical plug-in connections for the valves, the valve driving electronics, and the visual status indicators (LEDs for displaying the device status and a graphics LCD).

Pneumatic base module It supports the valves, ensures the pneumatic supply and deaeration of the valves, and provides the pneumatic outputs.

Solenoid valves The system integrates pilot valves Type 6524 (3/2-way or 2x3/2-way), Type 6525 (5/2-way), and Type 0460 (5/2-way pulse and 5/3-way).

WARNING
External-Valve-Shut-off function (EVS function): the switching contact must be located in the same control cabinet as the valve block. The line length must be limited to a maximum of 2 m.
TIP
AirLINE Quick: AirLINE Quick considerably reduces the use of components in the control cabinet. With the AirLINE Quick Adapter, the valve terminal is adapted directly to the control cabinet floor or control cabinet wall, reducing installation effort due to hose connections directly at the bottom of the control cabinet.
INFO
Electrostatic sensitive components: The device contains electronic components which react sensitively to electrostatic discharge (ESD). To minimize the risk of damage, ensure compliance with the requirements of EN 61340-5-1.
