BURKERT 364303 Type 5282 Servo-assisted 2/2-way Diaphragm Valve

Bürkert Type 5282 servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve. Features an isolating diaphragm for aggressive media, adjustable switching times, and explosion-proof variants up to DN 65.

BURKERT 364303 Type 5282 Servo-assisted 2/2-way Diaphragm Valve

Bürkert Type 5282 is a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve designed to control, shut off, and meter neutral media up to a viscosity of 21 mm²/s. The valve features a separating diaphragm that isolates the solenoid from the medium, making it highly suitable for aggressive and contaminated fluids. The standard brass body satisfies all European drinking water requirements, while stainless steel variants are available for more demanding applications.

The solenoid coils are molded with a chemically resistant epoxy. The 5282 is equipped with a service-friendly manual override for start-up and testing. Closing and opening times can be adjusted individually via side throttle screws to prevent pressure surges in liquid media.

Minimum Differential Pressure

The Type 5282 valve is servo-assisted. A minimum differential pressure (typically 0.2 or 0.5 bar depending on the cross-section) is required for the valve to function and open fully.

Circuit Function Conversion

The 3/2-way pilot valve can be easily converted from NC (Normally Closed) to NO (Normally Open) circuit function by rotating it 180° on the armature. Note: The circuit function can only be changed for variants up to 10 bar.
