Product Overview

The Spirax Sarco EP6 ATEX electro-pneumatic positioner is a high-precision valve positioner designed for industrial control applications. It is suitable for use with linear or rotary actuators that comply with NAMUR mounting standards, ensuring accurate correspondence between control valve travel and the 4–20 mA input signal. The housing is made from die-cast aluminium with a high level of corrosion resistance and environmental protection, making the EP6 suitable for outdoor installation and a wide range of industrial automation systems.

A pressure gauge is provided as standard to indicate the compressed air pressure delivered to the actuator, simplifying on-site monitoring. The positioner can be configured for direct-acting or reverse-acting operation, and a comprehensive range of mounting kits allows flexible installation on different actuator types and in different mounting positions.

The selection code consists of the series identifier and configuration codes, for example: EP6 + S + L + C + 1 + A, corresponding to a specific configuration.

Ordering example

For one positioner to be used on a PN9300 single-acting actuator with 30 mm travel, order: EP6SLC1-A positioner plus EY1 mounting kit.
