BURKERT 20074845 Type 7012 Direct-Acting 3/2-Way Plunger Valve

Burkert Type 7012 direct-acting 3/2-way plunger valve (SKU 20074845). Features 1.6mm orifice, brass body, FKM seal, M5 threaded port, and 24V/50Hz operation.

BURKERT 20074845 Type 7012 Direct-Acting 3/2-Way Plunger Valve

BURKERT Type 7012 is a direct-acting plunger valve designed for blocking, dosing, filling, and ventilating neutral gaseous and liquid media. The stopper and the core guide tube are welded together to increase pressure resistance and leak-tightness. Various housing and seal material combinations are available depending on the actual application. A Bürkert-specific flange variant (SFB) enables the space-saving arrangement of valves on a multiple manifold. The range is supplemented by explosion-proof variants. Push-in fittings can be selected for a flexible hose connection, and a banjo fitting with a banjo bolt is the ideal solution for easy direct mounting on a pneumatic actuator.

Key features of the Type 7012 series include:

  • Direct-acting and compact small valve up to DN 1.6
  • Slipped over coil system
  • Banjo fitting for direct mounting on pneumatic valves
  • Simple and fast push-in, flange or manifold mounting
  • Explosion-proof variants available

Safety and Installation

DANGER: High Pressure and Electric Shock

  • Risk of injury due to high pressure: Before working on the system or device, switch off the pressure and ventilate and empty the lines.
  • Risk of injury from electric shock: Before working on the system or device, switch off the power supply and secure against reactivation. Observe any applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices.
  • Risk of burns: Keep the device away from highly flammable substances and media and do not touch with bare hands, as the coil can become very hot during continuous operation.

Installation Guidelines

  • Installation position is as required, preferably with the actuator upright.
  • Check pipelines for soiling and clean if required before installation.
  • Install a dirt trap to protect against disruptions (mesh width: 0.2...0.4 mm).
  • Note the flow direction. Letters on the housing indicate the flow direction: from 1(P) → 2(A).
  • Do not use the solenoid as a lever arm when tightening threaded connections.
