BURKERT 340618 Type 0290 Servo-Assisted 2/2-Way Diaphragm Valve

BURKERT Type 0290 (SKU 340618) servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve. Features a brass body, FKM seal, 1/2" NPT connection, and 230V 50Hz operation for media up to 120°C.

BURKERT 340618 Type 0290 Servo-Assisted 2/2-Way Diaphragm Valve

BURKERT 340618 Type 0290 is a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm valve. The valve opens without differential pressure. The opening process is facilitated by the fix-coupling of the diaphragm to the magnetic core. The integrated 'soft-kick' function ensures gentle opening. Various diaphragm materials are available depending on the actual application. The solenoid coils are moulded with an epoxy that has a high level of chemical resistance. Kick and drop electronics are moulded into all DC solenoid variants for reduced electrical power consumption.

Safety Instructions

DANGER!

Risk of injury from high pressure in the system ▶ Before loosening lines or valves, switch off the pressure and vent the lines.

Risk of injury from electric shock ▶ Before reaching into the device or the system, switch off the power supply and secure it against reactivation. ▶ Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical devices.

WARNING!

Risk of injury due to improper installation ▶ Installation may only be performed by trained technicians and with the appropriate tools.

Risk of injury from unintentional activation of the system and uncontrolled restart ▶ Secure the system against unintentional activation. ▶ Ensure a controlled restart after installation.

Before Installation

Dirt trap: for safe operation of the solenoid valve, a dirt trap (≤400µm) must be installed before the valve inlet.
