BURKERT Type 3320 electromotive 2/2-way angle seat valve (SKU 20122961). Features 1" NPT connection, PTFE seal, 0-25 bar pressure range, and IP65/67 protection.

BURKERT 20122961 Type 3320 Electromotive Angle Seat Valve, 1" NPT, 24V DC

BURKERT Type 3320 electromotive 2/2-way angle seat valve is the innovative solution for shut-off tasks under demanding operating conditions. The electromotive actuator with a ball screw moves the swivel plate at a particularly high speed of up to 6 mm/s to the desired end position, reacting almost instantaneously to process signals. If necessary, the safety position can be approached by an optional SAFEPOS energy-pack in case of a power failure. The actuator and shut-off valve are perfectly adapted to each other with a closed design and robust surface, ensuring hygienic requirements for fast and residue-free cleaning are met.

Harsh ambient conditions are no problem for the Type 3320 due to its IP65/IP67 protection degree and high impact and vibration resistance. Thanks to the tried-and-tested, self-adjusting packing gland with exchangeable V-seals, the angle seat valve achieves maximum service life and tightness.

Product Design and Assembly

The electromotive linear drive consists of a brushless DC motor, a gear, and a spindle system that transfers the force to the closing element. The integrated control electronics are controlled either by standard signals or via a fieldbus (digital).

Safety Position via Energy Storage

The safety starting positions in case of power interruption are realized with the optional SAFEPOS energy-pack. The desired position is set via the menu (open, closed, or intermediate). The energy storage device is fully charged and ready for operation after a maximum of 120 seconds.

Maintenance and Manual Override

When the supply voltage is not applied (e.g., during installation or power failure), the valve can be opened with the mechanical manual control.

Mechanical Manual Control

The mechanical manual control may be used in a de-energized state only, otherwise the device may be damaged. Do not exceed the maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm when reaching the valve end position.

X.TUNE Adjustment

If the X.TUNE function is run under medium pressure, the controller will be incorrectly adjusted, resulting in an uncontrolled process. Never run the X.TUNE under medium pressure. Secure the system against unintentional activation.
